The Hook Trail is a multi-use trails network that will grow to connect all key destinations within the Town of Red Hook, satisfying the need for off-road walking/biking trails between the Village of Red Hook, Bard College, and the Village of Tivoli. The Hook Trail system will be the arterial connector between neighborhoods, schools, village-centers, essential destinations such as grocery stores and public transportation systems, historic and scenic sites, and existing walking trail systems along the western portion of town and the Hudson River. They will be open for use by walkers, runners, bicyclists, cross-country skiers and other non- motorized trail user groups.
